Joss Stone will perform at Tuesday’s (September 18) “The Dream Concert”, a musical tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, at Radio City Music Hall.
The concert aims to honor Dr. King’s lifelong commitment to equality and non-violence and raise money for the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Foundation.
Coverage from The Dream Concert including red carpet arrivals and behind the scenes footage will be available on BET on Blast, BET’s broadband platform. The Dream Concert’s talented line-up brings together musicians from across all genres, including Garth Brooks, Queen Latifah, Joss Stone, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Carlos Santana, Robin Thicke, John Legend, Bebe Winans, Cece Winans, Jessye Norman, Ryan Shaw and Miri Ben-Ari. Tickets are priced at $150, $250, $500, $1000 are available through TicketMaster phones and outlets and at www.ticketmaster.com and www.radiocity.com, with $5,000 tickets available at www.thedreamconcert.com.

Joss Stone provides vocals to Chanel’s new ‘Coco Mademoiselle’ film starring actress Keira Knightly. She sings “L-O-V-E” which was originally composed by Bert Kaempfert and Milt Gabler in 1964 for Nat King Cole.

Joss Stone is helping launch the Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network, a Hip-Hop Summit Action Network program that is setting out to deal with the portrayal of women of color in entertainment — specifically hip-hop. Baby Phat designer Kimora Lee Simmons will act as the national spokeswoman for WEEN, which will be formally christened with a pink-carpet event September 19 at Bo Concept, a furniture in Manhattan, New York.
