I took some time last night to update Joss’ tour schedule page. She listed some gigs on her official website, so I added those after finding more show details. I also found a few others that weren’t listed there. If you live in Europe, there’s a good chance Joss will be performing somewhere near you!

Singer Joss Stone is ready to forfeit £2million in a desperate bid to quit her record label EMI.

She claims they have ‘no working relationship’ and has even recorded a song called Free Me about her wish to escape.

But EMI has refused to let her go – and is taking legal action in return, claiming she is in breach of contract by failing to deliver the master tapes for her new album Colour Me Free.

The 22-year-old told EMI she wanted to leave in January and insiders say she is willing to give up £1.2million from a £7.5million advance she was given in 2006.

Joss, a Grammy Award winner who has sold 11million albums worldwide, is also prepared to give up £800,000 due for Colour Me Free. Read the rest of this entry »

SINGING sensation Joss Stone is urging people to get their walking boots on to help vulnerable children.

The 25-mile Hike Against Cruelty to Kids is taking place in September in Devon.

Joss, who owns a house in Culmstock, Devon, has joined the NSPCC’s Child’s Voice Appeal alongside chairman, Somerset businesswoman and TV ‘dragon’ Deborah Meaden.

All money raised will go towards expanding ChildLine South West, one of the UK’s smallest ChildLine bases, located in Exeter.

The 25-mile challenge walk on Sunday September 27 begins and ends at Bicton College near Budleigh Salterton in East Devon.

As I previously posted, Joss guest voiced a character on FOX animated comedy American Dad. That episode airs this Sunday at 8:30 PM (ET). Don’t miss it!

Joss will appear on “The Tudors” again next season, which is also its last season. Here is a little more info:

She will reprise her role from the current third season, playing Anne of Cleves, the fourth wife of Henry VIII (Jonathan Rhys Meyers).

Anne, whose marriage to Henry was annulled after he decided he no longer found her attractive, became the king’s confidante and outlived his other five wives.

Joss collaborated with Joey DeGraw, who is the older brother of Gavin Degraw, for his upcoming sophomore album. The set, titled Say Something Strong, hits stores June 9th.

Joss contributed vocals to “Another Mistake”, which is a track he had originally written for her.

Joss Stone and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger will collaborate on a charity album for the Unite Nations, according to various reports. The album and its release will coincide with International Day of Peace, September 21.

The pair recorded ”Lonely Without You” together in 2004 for the Alfie Soundtrack.

Nas, Bono, Damien and Stephen Marley and Slumdog Millionaire composer A R Rahman will also contribute to the project.

Prince William and Prince Harry have joined their dad, Prince Charles in cameo performances in an online video to highlight Charles’s fight to save the rainforests as part of the Prince’s Rainforest Project. By signing up to the Web site, viewers will not only able to show their support for the cause, according to Prince Charles’s office, but they can also interact with the site, and create their own “mash-up” and appear alongside the frog and celebs, creating a global network of followers demanding action.
