Joss Stone has recorded a song, “Stand Up To Cancer”, with Eurythmics member Dave Stewart which serves as the anthem for Up2, the Stand Up To Cancer campaign and the Stand Up 2 Cancer On Demand special.
Several versions of the song were recorded, including an instrumental one performed by an orchestra.
According to the press release, the PSA will feature “Renee Zellweger, Rob Lowe, Josh Groban, Derek Fisher, Michael Strahan, Minka Kelly, and Mandy Moore among many others, conveying the core message: it’s up to each of us to play a role in ending cancer.”
